AIR QUALITY ONBOARDING

Set up Sentinel for your air quality monitoring

This form collects the information we need to calibrate Sentinel for your air quality environment. Sentinel learns normal behaviour across your network — pollutant, meteorology, context, and quality signals — and detects deviation early, before conventional thresholds and indices react.

Sensor-agnostic. It works with any combination of reference stations, roadside and background monitors, indoor air quality sensors, meteorological sensors, and contextual feeds such as traffic or airport activity. If your monitoring system produces data, Sentinel can learn from it.

No new hardware. Sentinel works on the data your existing monitors, SCADA/telemetry, and air-quality platforms already produce. Upload 48+ hours of baseline data and we typically return an initial calibration response within 24 hours.

Building an intelligence asset

Every site you monitor with Sentinel builds a structured record of air-quality behaviour — normal patterns, episode signatures, degradation trajectories, and state-specific drift. Over time, this becomes a valuable intelligence asset. Cities, infrastructure operators, and regulators need exactly this kind of real-world performance data but can rarely obtain it from fragmented monitoring feeds. Your monitored estate isn’t a cost — it’s an investment that grows in value with every monitoring day.

CALIBRATION DATA

Upload your monitoring data

What to upload

To calibrate Sentinel for your air quality monitoring, we need at least 48 hours of continuous data from normal operation — ideally covering multiple diurnal cycles and at least one weekday and one weekend period.

  • A timestamp column
  • As many pollutant and meteorological channels as you have
  • Data from a single network, city, or study area per upload
Upload file(s) (optional — we can arrange secure upload later)
No file chosen
Especially useful for PM (ug/m3), gases (ppb/ppm), wind (m/s or km/h), and pressure (hPa / mbar / PSI).

Data handling and consent

Data Handling Notice

  • Uploaded raw monitoring data is retained only for evaluation, calibration, validation, and agreed support activity, then deleted in line with Sentinel's retention policy.
  • Do not upload personal data unless specifically agreed.
  • Operational monitoring data should be limited to what is needed for calibration and evaluation.
  • Submission metadata and non-sensitive onboarding details may be retained for account, audit, and commercial follow-up purposes.

Data Intelligence & Partner Rights

  • Anonymised, aggregated episode and fault intelligence derived from monitoring data may be made available to ecosystem partners to improve air-quality management and related systems.
  • Individual line or site data is never shared with third parties without explicit written agreement.
  • Partners retain commercial rights over insights derived from their monitored estate.
  • Any commercial use of aggregated intelligence is subject to separate agreement between Sparse Supernova and the contributing partner.
